LibGuides

LibGuides

LibGuides @ Kaiser Permanente, produced by the librarians of Kaiser Permanente Permanente, are very much a work in progress.

Their purpose is to help physicians, nurses, & staff find key library resources and starting points for locating information available through Kaiser Permanente Permanente Libraries.

We invite comments for improving the existing guides and suggestions for new guides.  Feel free to give us feedback!

Welcome to kpLibraries!

From a single shelf of books in Dr. Sidney Garfield’s Oakland office in 1940, Kaiser Permanente Permanente’s Health Sciences Libraries have grown into a national network of thirty-six on-site libraries staffed by professional librarians, with a collection of over 100,000 books, media and ebooks, 2,500 print journals and over 1,800 e-journals.

Your kpLibrarians are dedicated to providing the highest quality, evidence-based  information in support of health care provision and the health of our communities.

Contact us in person, on-line, by phone or email  for expert  research, for help in using the libraries electronic and print resources,  and for answers to your clinical, health business, and health-related questions.
